Actions taken • Study undertaken to analyze how this waste can be converted for use in the cement industry as a source of alternate fuel. • Waste profile study to understand the requirements for co-processing. • Changes were implemented in the process of segregation and waste treatment to ensure that the treated waste met the requirement of the cement manufacturers.
