Engagement for commitment, connection and productivity We communicate regularly and through a variety of channels to encourage two-way dialogue. One such initiative was the launch of the Saimer Cafe which is a quarterly magazine aimed at connecting employees across our sites and highlighting the personal stories of our talented workforce and their families. This is in addition to our existing newsletter SaiGo which provides highlights of Saimer’s achievements. Over the years we have found creative ways to engage with our employees and their families. A few initiatives are: We organized ‘Chitrakaar - Paint your imagination’, an exclusive drawing competition and exhibition for our associates and their families in Bidar. We also organised Sai Josh - the annual sports event, Sai Soor- a family musical event and other theme-based celebrations every month. In the reporting period, we paid attention to the well-being of our employees and their families. The process involved mental health awareness and access to counselling support which offered confidentiality and timely help. Additionally, in Unit 4 in Bidar, Karnataka, we have tied up with the hospital for medical support for our teams. This is unconditional support to ensure that our employees engage and contribute with balance and well-being. Derived from the concept of an isomer, our employees are referred to as “Saimers”. Saimer Recognition is a cornerstone of our employee engagement philosophy. Creating a recognition program is a start—and we are constantly re-evaluating the ways we can encourage our employees. Our leaders are aligned with the potential of adding value to the employee recognition experience.For example: In Manchester R&D, we run individual and team recognition programs with a focus on instant appreciation, value cards and rewards for demonstrating desired behaviours. The employees can accumulate appreciation as points that can be monetised.
