Incorporating sustainability into the R&T centre, Hyderabad The R&T Center at Hyderabad has been LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certified in the Gold rating category by US Green Building Council. The building is a sustainable facility incorporating principles of water efficiency, reduced energy consumption, optimised resource consumption and indoor air quality. This building is equipped with water meters, rainwater management systems, drip and sprinkler arrangements and efficient plumbing fixtures that reduce water consumption by 53%. The project saves 11% energy savings. Indoor air quality has been considered during the design of the building. Construction waste of about 77% has been avoided from being disposed of and thus incorporating circularity from the initial design phase. .
