119 Livelihood We support projects that improve access to health for people by getting involved in diverse healthcare initiatives. The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public private partnership initiative developed to address the limited institutional capacity in India in Public Health through public health education, research, advocacy and policy development. The Indian Institute of Public Health Hyderabad (IIPH-H) as an arm of the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) aims to strengthen Public Health in India. The IIPH stands as a beacon in the realm of public health, driven by the generous support of a diverse community of its patrons. These collective contributions fuel ground breaking research and support initiatives to combat pressing health crises. Our donation to IIPH plays a pivotal role in sustaining the Institute’s unwavering dedication to nurturing a cadre of visionary leaders in public health. Supporting research, innovation, and public health initiatives We have pledged support towards the construction of the building slated to be the Centre for Infectious Diseases and Response Preparedness, at the permanent campus of the institute in Hyderabad. This building will be dedicated to activities involving research, training, and capacity building, including housing a high-quality digital library, and a well-equipped laboratory for research purposes. In November 2023, significant progress was made toward the realization of the Centre for Infectious Disease. The design phase for the Centre is currently underway, marking a crucial step towards creating a state-ofthe-art facility tailored to meet the demands of cutting-edge research and response to infectious diseases. Age Bifurcation Among the enrolled students, 189 fall within the age bracket of 17 to 21, followed by 42 in the 22 to 24 range. Additionally, 15 students are aged between 25 to 27, while 17 students are 28 years old and above. This age distribution demonstrates a varied representation across different age groups within the program. Education Bifurcation In terms of their highest education attainment, the majority of students, totaling 254, have completed their Class 12th education. Additionally, there are four students each who have completed their education up to Class 10th and Class 9th, respectively. Furthermore, one student has achieved education up to Class 8th. Completion Out of the 263 total registrations, 185 students successfully the course, completed demonstrating their dedication and perseverance. However, 78 students opted to discontinue their studies, while 10 students are still in the process of completing their coursework. Gender bifurcation Out of the total enrollment, there were 129 females and 134 males. This gender diversity showcases a balanced participation across both genders in the program Top 3 profiles Among the placed students, the top three profiles based on the number of placements are Data entry operator, Customer care executive and Computer operator, reflecting the diverse avenues our graduates have ventured into. Top 3 sectors The top three sectors in which students were placed, based on the number of placements, are BPO, IT/ITES and Manufacturing, showcasing the diverse employment opportunities our graduates have accessed. Top 3 organizations Students secured placements, with notable placements in Schneider Electric Infra, Nagarjuna Household, and Redeploy, highlighting the diverse array of career opportunities available to our students.
