91 We are fully focused on structuring our engagement process with contract workers with the intention to contributing to their conformance with labour and human rights and health & safety requirements. We adopt a cross-functional approach that involves Human Resources, HSE, and the Line function in the area where the contract worker is deployed. The various touch points across the contractor management process are associated with safe entry & exit, safety training, OJT training, supervisor connect, discussions to ascertain compliance with labour and human rights and labour inspection through internal or external auditor. The inspection is conducted by either a consultant or the internal team.The consultant can follow their standard procedures / formats for the inspection and submit a detailed report with observations and proposed corrective actions. IIn case our internal team carries out an inspection, the procedure involves unit administration, unit HR, corporate administration, and corporate HR. The inspection team conducts the inspection as per the Labour Law Compliance Checklist. The Unit Administration and Unit HR formulates an action plan (CAPA) with responsibilities and target date of completion and report progress till the closure of the identified findings.
